The Faculty was established in 1956 and possesses a distinguished history in the preparation of highly qualified specialists. Graduates of the Faculty have been actively engaged in various sectors, including higher education institutions across the Republic and its regions, the education system, the national economy, as well as in foreign countries. Throughout its history, the Faculty has been led by a number of esteemed individuals, including Associate Professor A. Kahhorov (Head of Department), Senior Lecturers S. Shodiyev, Ch. Qoziyev, Sh. Bozorov, T. Sodiqov, N. Sharipov, J. Toshev, B. Khayriddinov, A. Tashatov, A. Kholmurodov, and B. Qo‘yliyev, who served as deans during different periods. At present, the Faculty is headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor N. Eshqorayeva. Currently, the Faculty comprises the following departments: Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations, Algebra and Geometry, Applied Mathematics, and Algorithms and Programming Technologies. The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science was established in accordance with the organizational structure of Karshi State University, as approved by the Order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 22, 2021.
